Samuel R. Mirkovich

Mr. Mirkovich is a Partner of Campbell & Williams and has been a member of the bar for over ten years.  Mr. Mirkovich’s practice is entirely focused on litigating the firm's complex commercial litigation matters and catastrophic personal injury cases from inception, through discovery and depositions, and at trial or binding arbitration.  Mr. Mirkovich has served as lead counsel in over a dozen trials and countless arbitrations.  Mr. Mirkovich has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of cases and, as counsel for plaintiffs, has achieved numerous results in excess of $10 million.

Mr. Mirkovich was recently named to the Best Lawyers in America and holds an AV “Preeminent” ranking, which is the highest rating for legal skill and ethical practices designated by Martindale-Hubbell.  Mr. Mirkovich has also been consistently featured as a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers and one of Nevada’s “Legal Elite” by Nevada Business Magazine.  Mr. Mirkovich is also a longstanding member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum and has been named as one of the “Top 40 under 40” by the National Trial Lawyers on multiple occasions.

Mr. Mirkovich’s recent litigation work includes:

  • Joey Gilbert v. Joseph Lombardo, et al., (Conducted all depositions in election contest case where his client defeated the election contest on summary judgment and preserved the results of 2022 Republican Primary Election for Nevada Governor)

  • Representation of a publicly traded gaming company against Native American tribe (Conducted majority of witness examinations in 3-week arbitration)

  • Gardner v. Henderson Water Park, LLC, (Led trial team through discovery and conducted all expert depositions that resulted in settlement against water park on behalf of catastrophically injured minor)

In 2018, Nevada Legal Services named Mr. Mirkovich as its Pro Bono Name Change Attorney of the Year for his work in assisting transgender individuals obtain name and gender changes on an exclusively pro bono basis. Mr. Mirkovich has also served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), supporting and promoting courtroom advocacy for abused and neglected children. Mr. Mirkovich is a Las Vegas native, and enjoys spending time outdoors (preferably on a bike or snowboard) in Whitefish, Montana.
